What struck me was not the beliefs of the song-writer, but rather, the fact that he could clearly articulate what he believes in. The courage to accept his personality as it was, and to splash his own endorsement of it and sell a few thousand albums.
Let's just look at personal identification. Do you believe in something? Do you have the courage to stand up and say, "Look, this is what I believe in. And because this is what I believe in, I am ready to make real personal sacrifice to endorse it."
If you are not courageous, who can you lead? If you are not ready to sacrifice, what can you achieve?
